loss of immunity

                 severe combined immune deficiency disease

                                            SCID

Deficiency of adenosine deaminase  cause acmulation of dATP.
dATP inhibits ribonucleotide reductase  which  cause deficiency of  other three
dNTP  so T and B lymphocyte synthesis inhibits and this decrease immune power

                            COLLAGEN PROTEIN

( Greek word-kola meaning glue and gen means producing)
The most abundant protein in vertebrates
major structural protein of extra cellular matrix

structure-triple stranded helical  structure
In tropocollagen(300nm long fundamental unit of collagen) 3 left handed alfa helical polypeptide chains are helically twisted in right handed fasion.
polypeptide chain are repeating trypeptide gly-X-Y where X is proline or 3 or 4 hydroxylproline and Y is 5-hydroxylysine  that help in cross linking both intra and inter tropocollegen molecule.hydroxylation of  lysine helps in its glycolysation and in inter chain H-bonding

ascorbic acid/vitC serve as cofactor for hydroxylation enzyames this is why vitc deficiency cause scurvy (bleeding gum) due to less rigid defective collagen.

lysyl oxidase a cu dependent enzyme helps in cross linking

The fibroblast is the most common cell which creates collagen.
In muscle tissue, it serves as a major component of the endomysium. Collagen constitutes one to two percent of muscle tissue, and accounts for 6% of the weight of strong, tendinous muscles.[4] Gelatin, which is used in food and industry, is collagen that has been irreversibly hydrolyzed

weedicide

Ball-and-stick model of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid

2,4-D (2,4-D dichlorophenoxy  acetic acid )

2,4,5-T(2,4,5-trichlorophenoxy acetic acid)

Both are commonly used pesticide/herbicide used in the control of broadleaf weeds.
Both are synthetic auxin ,a class of plant hormone which causes uncontrolled ,unsustainable
growth ,causing stem curl -over,leaf withering and eventual plant death.
